Welcome to Gräf & Lantz, a Los Angeles based design studio founded by Holger Gräf and Daniel Lantz. With a PhD in engineering from the renowned Technische Universität in Munich, Germany, Holger's design philosophy stresses modern lines and structural aesthetics. Daniel is heavily influenced by his 10 year residency in Japan where he attended Otaru Shoka Daigaku. Daniel's design ideals are based in the marriage of traditional understated luxury and modern techniques. The combination of east and west and ancient and modern are the basis and influences to the continued growth of Gräf & Lantz.

Gräf & Lantz is pleased to introduce our new line of bottle and fashion accessories. Our goal is to create products that are luxurious, aware and functional. We have chosen to primarily use high quality 100% merino wool felt which we have produced and imported from Germany. Wool felt is a natural and sustainable material. It is insulating and - due to the natural oil content of the wool - water and stain resistant. Our high density felt not only makes a very durable and pill resistant product but also lends a sculptural quality that influences and inspires the structure and form of our designs. By combining felt with other natural materials we highlight its deep rich colors and unique texture. Each piece is handmade in the USA.

The ideal behind our Modern Functions line of products is to use the worlds oldest fabric in new ways and give it a distinctively modern twist. We are launching the line with a selection of dress belts and bottle accessories and will soon expand into handbags and home accessories.
